Here you will find a short description of the chat window. You may enlarge the images by clicking on them.

1. Here you will see the chat messages


2. Here you enter your message and send it by hitting the enter key or clicking on 'send'


3. Here you can see who is actually in the chat


4. Here you see the available chat rooms; you can join them by choosing them


5. Here's the exit - or entry, if you want to come in again

Possibilities to format the text:



On the right side of the entry / exit door you can choose:

B for bold text
I for italic text
U will underline your message
S i striking the message
C will offer you colors for your message

Insert a smiley by clicking on it.

On the right side you will find some more icons which may be unusual to you - they belong to this chat:

The three dices will give or take color to the users
The clock will switch between showing and not showing of time and date of the message
The speaker enables / disables the sound
The smiley toggles between showing and not showing the smileys.
With the icon at the very right you choose if you want to see the users list or not

Just give it a try - nothing bad can happen

Besides the available chat rooms you may talk in private to other users. To do so just click on the name of the user and choose 'Private Nachricht' aus. A new room with the name of the user will appear.

Known problems:
We experienced some phenomena which we can't explain by now, but we think it's possible to live with them:

Some entries appear several time, well...
Sometimes people are thrown out of the chat (timeout). That's not really nice and we are trying to get rid of this problem. Until then: Close the chat window and come in again!
